We believe great Japanese food should never feel ordinary. So we obsess over the rice, the knife work, and the fish — from signature dishes like the Black Cod and creative rolls like the Totoro and Kill Bill, to slow-simmered tonkotsu ramen, teriyaki, and yakisoba — classics done properly.
Black Cod — $18.95 — Miso-marinated, broiled until it flakes — our signature since day one.
Totoro — $14.95 — Avocado, pickled gourd, cucumber and burdock under inari and yuzu miso — the roll that charms vegetarians and sushi lovers alike.
Kill Bill — $19.95 — Tempura shrimp and avocado under seared salmon, sesame dressing and tobiko — a house legend.

Our Story
Hamachi was founded by Chef Mogi and Chef OC, whose shared passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality began in the heart of Salt Lake City, on 100 South.
What started as one restaurant has grown into a family of three locations, built on fresh ingredients, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional hospitality.
Through it all, Chef Mogi and Chef OC have stayed dedicated to bringing people together through great food and memorable dining experiences. Their vision shapes everything we do, from the kitchen to the dining room.
Today, Hamachi keeps growing while staying true to the values that started it all: quality, passion, and community.
